Big Brother

Since we haven't posted in a little while, I thought I would give everyone a little update. Dawn and the baby are still doing well. Both of them continue to get a little bigger each day. The nursery is complete and ready for Connor's arrival. I will post some pictures of it soon. Basically, we are just waiting..............

While we are waiting, Joey has been getting excited about his new role in the house: the role of big brother. Actually, Joey has been looking kind of concerned lately. We think he knows something is up but he hasn't quite figured out what. I guess he will just have to wait and see what all the changes in his house have been about. In the meantime, here is a picture of him waiting for Connor to arrive.

Baby Shower

Last Sunday, we were showered with lots of gifts from our family and friends. The women had a civilized tea party and the men went to a Portuguese bar for lunch. We all had a great time celebrating our own way. We received so many gifts from everyone and we are really grateful. It took forever to sort through all of the gifts, but we finally managed to get it all put away. On another exciting note, our furniture arrived today so the nursery is almost complete. Stay tuned for pictures soon.

His foot

Here's the ultrasound picture I've been promising. It is a picture of Connor's foot. I know it might be small, but he has been putting it to good use kicking Dawn. Maybe when he grows up he will make his Portuguese heritage proud and become a soccer player.
