Easter 2011

This past weekend was filled with Easter activities. We colored easter eggs, went to church and hosted Easter lunch for our family. Connor is old enough now that the holidays are very exciting. He had so much fun and Jack followed right along with him!

Vegas

For our 30th birthdays, James and I treated ourselves to an adults only, long weekend trip to Las Vegas. We went with our friends Lauren, Ryan, Beth and Derek. It was great to relax by the pool, eat some amazing food and stay out late. We missed Connor and Jack, but we knew they were having an awesome time at my parents (Thank you sooooo much Mom + Dad). Connor called it his vacation at Pa and Mama's. It was great to come home to the boys and be all together again!!!

Happy 30th Birthday Daddy!

Yesterday was James' 30th Birthday. We took him out to supper at our favorite mexican restaurant, Fiesta, and then we came home for presents and red velvet cupcakes. Yum!!!

Trees

This weekend we planted two new trees in our front yard, one for Connor and the other for Jack. The boys had fun helping James dig the holes, plant and water the trees. A big thank you to Aunt Lori and Uncle Deniz for giving us the trees!

Fun stuff

April is always a busy month for us and this year it is extra busy!!! I am really excited to have so many things to do after the long and boring winter. The boys and I spent the last day of March at the Easton Children's Museum. The last time we had been there was a year ago, so it was like new for Connor. Both boys had a blast and were really well behaved.

This month is also James' birthday month and this year it is extra special because he is turning 30! We have lots of celebrations planned - including a trip to VEGAS!!!! But we started off by celebrating with the kids and our parents at the new hibachi restaurant, Ichigo Ichie. Both boys loved watching the chef cook and the adults enjoyed some great food and drinks. We also got to have Chocolate cake from James' favortie bakery, Pastiche.... YUMMMMMM.

Yesterday, James and I made a big purchase. A 16 foot expandable travel trailer!!!!! We both have always loved to camp and with two little boys we figure it is the best way for our family to travel around. We are also getting a new car to pull it which should be ready this week. I can't wait until it is warm enough to take it camping for the first time!
