Getting ready for Easter

This past weekend we had an egg dyeing party with Beth, Derek and Luke. Connor really enjoyed dyeing the eggs. He loved dunking the eggs in the cups, but in the process he also colored his hands blue and green. He looked like the incredible hulk. :) It was Beth and Luke's first time decorating Easter eggs which was really fun to watch.

Easton Children's Museum

This week Grandpa was away for business travel, so we spent alot of time with Grandma. On Wednesday, we took her to the Easton Children's Museum. Connor had a good time showing his "Buddy" (his current nickname for her) all the different exhibits. Jack was a good boy and slept his way through the museum.

Spring Fever

The weather this past weekend was perfect. It was so great to get a taste of spring. James had the day off from work Friday so we took the oppotunity to go to Buttonwood Park Zoo. It is a small zoo, but we had a nice time exploring it together.

Life around here has been really busy. A newborn and a toddler are keeping us going nonstop, so I apologize for the slow posting lately. Jack is officially one month old!!!! I can't believe how fast the first month went. He is a great baby and has been doing really well. We took him to the doctors for his one month checkup and he already weighs 8 lbs. 3 ozs. which is a huge increase from his birth weight.

Another exciting milestone has happened in our household... we finally got a Wii. James has been wanting one for a while and we decided to use this years tax return to buy one. Connor loves to play it, especially the Wii fit hula hoop game. It is so cute to watch James and Connor play together. I think I will be seeing alot of video game playing in the future.

Week 3

This week we celebrated Jack's 3 week birthday by giving him his first bottle. James got to have a daddy-son bonding moment and I am now able to have a little more freedom! Connor seems to be enjoying his role as a big brother, but it seems to be making him into a goofy kid. Check out some of his antics this past week.
