La Salette

Last weekend we visited La Salette to see all of the Christmas lights (or as Jack would call them Ho Ho lights) The weather was perfect - just cold enough to wear our winter gear without feeling cold. The boys had a great time - especially on the tractor hayride through the displays.

Florida 2011 - Part 3 - Disney

The second week of our trip was spent visiting Disney World. Connor absolutly loved it!!!! Three really is a great age to visit because it is so magical for them. He loved meeting the charachters and riding lots of the rides (but not all of them.... he still didn't like any dark rides). Jack enjoyed himself too - tagging along with his brother. We got to spend lots of quality time as a family and we were also able to share some time with Nane, Pepe, Mama, Pa, Auntie and Uncle! I have over 500 pictures from the trip so here is the first half of the sampling.

Florida 2011 - Part 2 - Halloween

While we were in Florida, we celebrated Halloween. Connor really wanted to be a pirate this year and Jack always wants to be just like his brother, so we had two little pirates to take trick - or - treating. The boys went to Deer Creek to do the rounds around Nana, Auntie and Uncle's Florida neighborhood. All of the retirees loved seeing the boys in their costumes and the kids made out with two very full baskets!

Florida 2011 - Part 1

The first week of our trip we spent in Fort Lauderdale. I had to work that week at the boat show, so James and the boys came down with me to start their vacation early. James did great at being Mr. Mom for the week (and he even worked in the booth alittle too). I did have some free time, which was really nice to get to share with my boys. We spent a really nice morning on the beach. It was beautiful and we had pretty much the whole beach all to ourselves. Connor and Jack had a blast digging in the sand, playing on the playground and chasing seagulls. A couple of the days we visited a nearby indoor gym called Funderdome. It was an awesome place with all kinds of cool things for the kids to do. Connor is still talking about it!!! Jack and Connor also shared a first while we were in Fort Lauderdale... we went for "drinks" at the hotel bar. Stay tuned for more Florida adventures...

We're back

We just returned on Monday from two weeks in Florida. I am still sorting through all of our pictures, but in the meantime I thought I would share a video we took the night before we left. Enjoy!

Fall Party with Friends

Last weekend, we had a fall sleepover party with our friends at the Farias' house. The boys had a fun time having a dance party and painting pumpkins. The adults got to enjoy playing with all the little ones and some adult time when they went to sleep. Both Connor and Jack did great sleeping over and I am sure that we will have many more sleepovers to come.
