We're back!!!

Hi everyone! Sorry for our absence but we were in California for the last 9 days. We flew out to celebrate Auntie Sue and Uncle Aaron's wedding and to do some sightseeing. It was Connor and Jack's first flight, which I was extremely anxious about. It turned out to be not so bad. Both kids were really good with the exception of a few moments, but we made it through it! It is nice to be back home.... it was quite a production to take two little guys on vacation all the way across the country. I have a ton of pictures from the vacation and I am waiting to get some pictures from our family so look forward to many more posts!

4 months old!

Last Friday, Jack celebrated his 4 month birthday. It was a big milestone because he got to try his first bite of solid food... even if it was just rice cereal. He seemed to be a little confused at first, but he has really gotten the hang of it by today. He gets all excited when we feed him.... he babbles alot and kicks his feet all around.

Cow Chip Festival

This weekend we went to the Dighton Cow Chip Festival. It is a unique tradition here in our small town. The main event of the festival is betting on the location of the first cow to "chip" in the field. We did not bet on the cows but we did have a great time at the carnival. Connor rode a bunch of rides and had a blast!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great Memorial Day Weekend. The weather was perfect and we were able to spend some quality family time together. On Sunday, we took the boys to the beach to hang out with our friends Lauren and Ryan. Connor had a blast playing in the very cold ocean and building sand castles. Jack had a nice first time at the beach hanging out in the shade. On Monday, we went to the Dighton Memorial Day Parade. Connor and Jack both sat happily for almost the entire parade.... until the end when the fire trucks came. Both boys panicked when they heard the loud sirens so we had to leave a little early.
