Happy Birthday Nana

Yesterday we celebrated Nana's birthday. The weather was nice, so we started the party by playing in the pool. The water was pretty cold, but Connor had a great time swimming with Daddy anyway. In the last week, Connor has really started to show interest in feeding himself with a fork or spoon. He tries pretty hard to use them.... but he usually ends up resorting to his hands. He also makes a big mess in the process!

Weekend in NY

We just returned last night from a long weekend camping with my parents in New York. We took two day trips, one to the Bronx Zoo and the second was to a couple of wineries. James' Aunt and Uncle and their friends met us at the wineries which was really great. The weekend was pretty good weather wise and we stayed at a really nice campground. We all had a really fun time together.

4th of July Weekend

This weekend was full of fun 4th activities. On Friday we hosted a small cookout for our friends Lauren, Ryan, Beth, Derek & Baby Luke. It was great to have the time to hang out together celebrating. Saturday, we went to the Bristol 4th of July Parade, which is America's oldest 4th of July celebration. We spent a long day on the parade route (8:00-2:00) but Connor was really good. He seemed to enjoy all the different sights and sounds. It was really cute to watch him clap along with the crowds and wave at the marchers. After the parade, we had both sets of our parents over for a cookout. It was a fun weekend with great weather!
