An early Christmas gift

Well, it looks like Jack is going to learn to walk just in time for Christmas!!!! He is now taking four or five steps at a time. I can't believe my little guy is on the move. Here is a video of him that we took while we were visiting our friends in CT this weekend.

While in CT, we stayed over at our friends Lauren and Ryan's house. Connor was super excited to visit them. We had alot of fun spending time with them and they are awesome hosts. On Saturday, they took us to the childrens museum, Kid City, near their house. It was the best museum I have been to for the toddler age group. Connor, Luke and Jack all had a great time.

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas

The past two weekends have been spent getting our house ready for Christmas. We are getting very excited around here. Connor is so cute this year because he really seems to grasp the idea of what Christmas is all about. He knows all about Santa and the presents and he also knows it is baby Jesus' birthday (we sing Happy Birthday every night when we do the Advent wreath). Last weekend we decorated the tree and the outside of our house. This weekend we built a gingerbread train and had a Christmas get together with the Farias family.

Disney 2010 - Part 2

We were so excited to be in Florida that the day we arrived we decided to head over to the Magic Kingdom that night. When we got to Main Street both boys were attracted to the balloons.... so we had to buy them each one. The nice thing was that they played with them all week! The park was all lit up for Christmas. Everything was so beautiful! The next morning we went back to the park bright and early in the morning to ride some rides.Pa and Pepe flew in late that night and then we were all together for Thanksgiving Day.So thankful for my handsome boys!!!!After a visit to Hollywood Studios in the morning, we went to Nana and Pepe's house for a suprise Thanksgiving lunch. YUMConnor loved visiting their house because he got to drive Pepe's golf cart.Later that night we all went back to the park to see the Christmas lights all lit up on the backlot. The following evening we went to EPCOT to see the Christmas Candlelight Processional. I have been hearing about this event ever since James and I first started dating so I was very excited to go see it. The music was beautiful and it was a great time to spend together as a big family getting excited for the holidays.

We're back

Hi everyone! We are back from our Thanksgiving trip to Florida. We had a great time and I have lots of stories and pictures to share. Let me start by saying that both boys were really well behaved all week, even on the flights! It was so much easier to fly to FL than it was to fly to CA. The main reason for this trip was to spend Thanksgiving with the grandparents. We got to share the holiday with Nana, Pepe, Grandma and Grandpa. It was great to be with the ones we love the most on a holiday about being thankful.

Even though we just took the boys to Disneyland only 5 months ago, both boys were so much different from last time. Jack took in all the sights, sounds and flavors that Disney has to offer. He loved to walk around while holding on to our hands to check everything out. Connor had a completely different experience this time. He was scared of any ride that was indoors - I don't think he likes the dark. On the other hand, last time he wouldn't say Hi to any of the characters, but this time he loved to greet them, take pictures with them and have them sign his hat. For James and I the experience was new too! We never imagined being the people who waited in line for the characters instead of space mountain :) We really enjoyed it though. There is nothing like seeing Disney through your child's eyes.

Enough rambling.... time to get to the pictures!!! I am starting with the character pictures. There are alot more to come...
The Doraz Family with Tigger & Pooh
Greeting Goofy and Pluto with Pa and MamaThe boys meeting Donald - doesn't Connor look like such a big boy!He insisted on meeting Minnie all by himself :)Finally - Mickey!!!
