Jack's First Bath

Yesterday, Jack got to take his first real bath. He seemed to enjoy hanging out in the water. Hopefully he will like bath time as much as his brother!

Jack's first week

Jack's first week of life has been a busy one. We have been spending time together as a family all week since James has the week off with his paternity leave. Jack has been a great little baby so far... eating and sleeping well. He seems to have a pretty mellow personality and is taking everything in stride in his new crazy world.

Jack Comes Home

Jack came home to meet his new brother Connor on Saturday. It was very exciting to see how Connor would react to the newest addition to our family. He greeted Jack with his usual "HI" and was really curious to check him out in the carseat. Connor gave his baby brother a kiss and even held him for a few seconds. Then it was back to life as usual for a toddler. Over the past few days, Connor seems to be reacting well to life with Jack around. He shows interest in him every once in a while, trying to share his toys and food or give kisses, but other than that he just acts as if nothing has changed. Jack has been a wonderful baby so far, eating and sleeping just like a good baby should. We are all fighting a stomach bug, but other than that we are really happy to be home together as a new family of four.

Jack has Arrived Part 2

Athough a few weeks early nothing was going to stop Jack from coming, not even the snowstorm. So on Wednesday afternoon we were on our way to the hospital for another long night. This time Jack came earlier on Thursday morning and a lot faster then Connor.

Boston Science Museum

Today we took a day trip to Boston to visit the Boston Science Museum. We have been feeling pretty cooped up with the cold weather, so it was nice to be able to get out and do something fun, especially before Jack's arrival. Connor enjoyed taking in all the sights the museum had to offer. He really liked the imagination center and the dinosaurs. James and I were excited to go because the museum has a special exhibit right now about the Harry Potter movie series. They had a bunch of props, costumes and sets from the different movies. It was really interesting to see, but unfortunately they did not allow any pictures to be taken so we can't share the sights with you.
