Jack's First Hike

This past Saturday we took Jack on his very first hike. We took the boys up to Borderland State Park and did a two mile loop. It was a beautiful day and both boys seemed to enjoy themselves. Connor "hiked" for a while and then he rode the rest of the way in the backpack. Jack was awake for a while taking in all the sights and then he slept the rest of the way. It was great to spend the day outside together as a family - even Joey got to come along. I can see us doing many more hikes together in the future.

Happy Birthday Daddy

This week James celebrated his 29th Birthday! We had a nice dinner with the boys and our parents. Connor had a great time helping Daddy open his gifts and blow out all his candles. We are finishing the celebration week this weekend by having an adults night out at Foxwoods with some of our friends.

I also wanted to share a really cute video that I took of the boys this morning. Jack is really into watching his mobile lately, just like Connor was at the same age. He loves to lay in his crib and watch the animals spin around. Connor has taken to joining his brother in the crib to have some brotherly love time. It is sooooo precious to watch the two of them interact. I can't wait to see their relationship blossom as time goes by.

P.S. Please ignore the fact that Connor has no pants on. He wanted to climb in the crib right after his diaper change and I didn't have a chance to put his pants back on before taking the video. :)

2 months!

Yesterday was Jack's 2 month birthday. I can hardly believe that my newborn baby is not so new anymore. Jack is growing more each and every day. He smiles more often and is really starting to develop his own little personality. I love his all the cute little sounds he makes.

Connor is now only one month from his 2nd birthday. He has been changing alot lately as well. His language skills are really blossoming and he is becoming quite the conversationalist. He is also a big goof ball. Check out my little cowboy riding his horse at Nana's house.

Easter 2010

Yesterday we celebrated Easter with our families. It was a beautiful day. Grandpa took some awesome pictures of our family and I am really excited to share them with you.
