First Vacation

Last week we took Connor on his first vacation. We went to the Finger Lakes region of NY and took a day trip to Canada. Grandma and Grandpa came with us and we all had a great time.

Notice in the falls picture, there is a boat approaching the falls. This is the Maid of the Mist. We took Connor on this boat to get an up close and personal view of the power of the falls. All of us, including Connor, got to wear ponchos so we wouldn't get soaked.

Lately, Connor has been developing his own little personality. He has learned to smile when he is happy, but he has also learned to pout when he is not. Here is a picture of him sticking his lower lip out to show us his dismay. So cute!

His latest obsession

Over the past couple of weeks, Connor has become obsessed with his train mobile. He will lay in his crib watching each train pass by. Here is a short video so you can see what we mean.

Nana's Birthday

These past couple of days have been busy. Auntie Susan came to visit Connor for the first time. It was also Nana's Birthday so we had a little party to celebrate.

2 Months

Connor had his 2 month birthday yesterday. He decided to wear his hawaiian party shirt to celebrate.

Today, Connor had another first. He went swimming in the pool and loved it. I think he will enjoy swimming as much as I do.

Connor's First Fourth of July

We celebrated Connor's first 4th last week. The weather was kind of crummy so we didn't get to go to the parade, but we had a nice day day celebrating with the family. Even though this post is a little late we thought everyone would enjoy seeing him in his red, white and blue.

Merlot & Mocha

Today is the big day... we are finally going live with our new online business Merlot & Mocha. We are all really excited about it, especially Connor. He knows that this could pay for his college education someday if everything goes well. Because of this, he has been working really hard this week.
