Crawling Part 2

Here is a video of Connor and his crawling skills. In this video you can hear him working really hard to get where he wants to go. We took this video a couple of days ago and since then he has improved alot. He has been so excited to move all around the house on his own and now we really have to finish baby proofing our house. Good thing we put the baby gate up a couple of weeks ago!

Travel Ready

We recently booked a trip to go to Washington DC during the last week of March. Instead of pushing our stroller everywhere in the city, we decided to purchase a backpack to carry around our growing boy. We also plan to use it for lots of hikes this coming summer. Today we went to REI to pick it up and then Connor got to take his test drive in it. He loved the new view!

Lazy afternoon

Joey seems to be warming up to Connor lately. I think it has something to do with all of the cheerios that Connor drops, but it is nice to see them getting closer after all this time. Here is a picture from this past weekend of them sharing some nap space on the couch.

Crawling...

Well, the time has finally come... Connor has figured out how to crawl. He still doesn't go too far but he is on the move. We do not have a video of the crawling yet, but here is a picture of him doing a pushup. He always starts his crawl by pushing up on his toes and as you can see from the picture he has also figured out how to stick out his tongue. Too cute!

8 months

On Monday, Connor celebrated his 8 month birthday. Lately, he has been really trying to crawl but he hasn't quite figured it out yet. He gets up on all fours but can't get the first move started. He has also been developing quite the funny little personality lately, laughing at everything.

This is a video of us playing peekaboo with Connor. He loves to play and thinks that it is really funny. We apologize that the video is dark, but we thought the sound of his giggles was worth posting. Enjoy!

Connor the Pianist

Since both of us have a musical past, we would like to raise Connor with a love for music. This past week we let him play the piano for the first time. Here is a picture of his first solo.
