Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to pick our pumpkins at Araujo Farms. The weather was beautiful! The farm had a hayride out to the patch. Connor loved seeing the horses and riding on the wagon. Jack wasn't so sure about it all, but he did fall asleep on the ride back. We chose two big pumpkins from the patch and then a bunch of smaller ones from the store.

The Zoo and Welcome Home

This week was a very exciting week. On Tuesday, we went to the Roger Williams Zoo with my cousin Jenn and her nephew Logan. Logan and Connor spent the day pronouncing all of the animal names and Jenn and I got to catch up. On Friday, James and I took the kids to Boston for dinner and then we went to the airport to suprise my parents. They were returning from a 3 week trip to China and Japan. We missed them very much!!!! Connor was so excited to see Mama and Pa at the airport and I really enjoyed seeing the look on their faces when they saw all 4 of us waiting for them.

7 months & Apple Picking

Yesterday, Jack celebrated his 7 month birthday. He is sitting up pretty well now, smiling all of the time and trying to eat everything in sight. As part of the celebration, we went apple picking at C.N. Smith Farm. The weather was so perfect... sunny with a nice cool breeze. Connor really enjoyed picking and eating all of the apples. Jack spent his time hanging out in our new double stroller. After picking, we visited the rest of the farm where we were able to pet some of the animals.

Jack's 1st Haircut & More

Jack had his first haircut yesterday. Connor was having his haircut by Nana so we decided to take just a little off the top of Jack's hair too. (He was starting to look like he had a comb over) Both boys behaved themselves and now they look extra adorable!

Today, Auntie and Uncle came over to babysit Connor while I took Jack to his 6 month doctors appointment. I took some cute pictures of all of them when I got home.

Day out with Thomas

Saturday we went to see Day out with Thomas at Edaville Railroad. Our friends, the Farias family, joined us for the trip. It was really fun to get to see Thomas and ride on his train. Connor was very excited!!!! The boys also got to ride a bunch of smaller rides too. It was so cute to see all 3 boys enjoy the experience in their own ways.

Baking with Daddy

Last night Daddy wanted to have a "hurricane party" in honor of Hurricane Earl passing by us. So he and Connor baked up some brownies to help us celebrate.
