Bermuda - Part 2

While we were docked in Bermuda, we spent a couple of days at the beach. The first day we went to Horseshoe Bay Beach. It was absolutly beautiful with pink sand and crystal clear water. The waves were pretty strong and the undertow was even stronger. Suprisingly enough, Connor loved to have the waves crash into him. He was very brave. The second day we visted Snorkel Park. This beach was much more calm which meant Connor spent alot of time in the shallow end playing with the water and watching the fish swim all around us.

Bermuda - Part 1

Hello again everyone! We just returned from our week long cruise to Bermuda this morning. It was a fabulous trip with lots of great memories to treasure. We sailed on the Norwegian Spirit out of Boston and she was a great ship. Connor really enjoyed exploring the ship, checking out all the different sights and sounds. He also loved the attention he received from the staff on board. Many staff members learned his name throughout the week... He was famous! James and I enjoyed the chance to spend lots of time as a family, relaxing in the sun. It was also great sharing the week with my parents. I have lots of stories and pictures... so I will be spreading them out over a few posts. I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed the trip.

Mommy's Birthday and more

This past weekend we celebrated my 28th birthday. Friday night we had a big family party to celebrate. My Mom made me a fabulous cake... it is me lying on the sands of Bermuda reading a good book. It was really impressive! Saturday, James and Connor took me out for my birthday to Patriot Place. We had dinner at Red Robin and spent some time splashing around the puddles. Yesterday we went to take a look at our possible new house. The foundation has been poured and we wanted to see how it held up in the rain. Everything looked good and we will most likely be signing the contract on it this week. Wish us luck! This week will be really busy for us, but we will be rewarded on Friday when we leave for our Bermuda cruise!!!! So there will not be any blog posts for a while, but I promise lots of pictures and stories when we return.

Friends All Weekend

This weekend was full of time with our friends. On Saturday, Lauren and Ryan spent the day & night with us. We took a day trip to Roger Williams Zoo which was really fun and really HOT! Connor had a blast seeing all his animal friends. On Sunday, we celebrated the baptism of our Godson Luke. It was a beautiful ceremony and little Luke didn't utter a peep the entire service. We are so proud to be his new Godparents.

Horseneck Beach

Well, this past week has been really busy for us. We have been doing lots of work on our housing situation. Luckily, we got an offer on our house and we accepted it! Now all we have to is figure out where we are going to live. We are still waiting to hear on the short sale on my parents old house. We have also been looking at a new construction home in Dighton... so we have a couple of options to sort through.

This past Saturday, we had a yard sale to sell the junk from our basement. We got rid of all of our stuff and we made some money. On Sunday we rewarded ourselves with a day off spent at Horseneck Beach. The weather was perfect and we had a great time. It Connor's first day at the beach and he seemed to enjoy himself. It was a perfect test run for our cruise to Bermuda in a couple of weeks.

Big Brother

We have some very exciting news to share... Connor is going to be a big brother!!!! We are expecting a second bundle of joy due on February 26, 2010. Today we had our twelve week ultrasound and everything looked good. We have the first pictures to share of baby #2. We hope you enjoy!!!

On another exciting note, we are currently selling our home and looking for somewhere bigger to live... we need more SPACE! My childhood home, 1780 Milk St., is for sale and we are hoping to purchase it. It is up for a short sale so we might be waiting a while to hear if our bid is accepted... say some prayers for us (all 4 of us now)!

Happy Helper

Connor loves to "help" me do chores around the house. His favorite chore is sweeping... as soon as he sees the broom he wants it. Check him out this morning "helping" me fold the laundry.
